Real Presence Radio is a lay apostolate working in the Diocese of Fargo and the Diocese of Crookston, governed by The Board of Directors of Real Presence Radio. We are listener supported and a registered 501(c)(3) charity. Real Presence Radio is dedicated to answering the call of Pope John Paul II for a New Evangelization. In 1999, a group of individuals from the Diocese of Fargo decided to combine their time and talents to promote and implement a lay Catholic Radio Broadcast Ministry. This was the first step of realizing the vision of bringing Catholic Radio to the population of The Diocese of Fargo and Crookston on a 7-day per week, 24 hour basis.

On November 6, 2004, Real Presence Radio purchased and began operation of AM 1370 KWTL in Grand Forks, ND. The Board chose KWTL as a reminder that Jesus Christ is "The Way, The Truth, and The Life" (John 14:6). Recognizing that each of us are called to know, live, and share our faith, everyone involved with supporting KWTL is grateful to God for the apostolate as an extraordinary gift that we receive each day. We know this by the steady increase in feedback from listeners through letters of encouragement and financial support.

KWTL has been on the air since November 2004, and is one of about 150 Catholic Radio Stations in the US. Our programming is distinctively Catholic by providing a mix of devotionals, prayers, call-in programs, the daily Mass, and both local and national programs concerning the Catholic Faith. The programming is designed to communicate Christian Truth as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

On February 6, 2009 Real Presence Radio entered into a Time-Brokerage Agreement with Voice of Reason Radio and began broadcasting on AM1280 KVXR Moorhead in conjunction with an Asset Purchase Agreement which was signed on February 13, 2009. The final purchase of AM1280 KVXR, including FCC approval, was completed on April 23, 2009.
